More than protecting.

The PinkPolarBear Foundation’s scope is broader than just aiming to protect and support the habitat of the polar bear. While bears, seals, and whales are the visible and popular face of the animal inhabitants of the high latitudes, there are many others affected by climate change.

Supporting international polar research.

The PinkPolarBear Foundation is supporting international polar research in all disciplines, particularly programs focused on understanding the mechanisms driving climate change. Research is supported in various ways, by direct support, by creating platforms, by leveraging financing, and by communicating the outcomes of all research and activities. The foundation also supports sustainable development initiatives in the arctic region that put into practice what is seen as the appropriate response to the scientific findings.
